Axial Piston Pumps, Energy Recovery, Water Motors

Pillars:

The heart of all water treatment is the pump that moves water from one location to another at a set flow rate and pressure. There are many technologies available for this function but one of the most interesting processes for high-pressure systems (Desalination of seawater and waste water recovery) is the ability to pump water efficiently at high pressure in combination with energy recovery devices. By making the heart stronger and more efficient, we can reduce the energy needed to treat water to the point of using solar power to operate seawater desalination plants.

Janus booster axial piston pump:

  • Provides a differential boost of up to 85bar with a maximum pressure of 160bar.
  • High energy efficiency in a compact footprint.

Janus Power Centre energy recovery device:

  • A zero mixing energy recovery module running in the same housing as the feed pump.
  • Can reach below 2kWh / m³ of permeate produced in seawater desalination systems.
  • Incredibly simple operational set-up based on reverse osmosis recovery.
  • Highly reliable operation and cost-effective maintenance.
  • Able to pump from below 2000L/day all the way up to 2000m³/day of feed in a single unit.

The Water Hydraulics co. specialises in the on-site design and manufacture of innovative water-based components and systems that operate on tap water without fluid additives. Matching conventional hydraulic pressures, these systems offer greater efficiency, lower operating costs, and more compact components. They deliver high linear and rotary power with no risk of fire, contamination, or environmental harm. Designed to fit standard hydraulic interfaces, they ensure easy integration with minimal re-engineering.
